I started drawing when I was in high-school. I was most interested in learning to draw faces, and though I have come a long way since I started, there were many poorly done drawings before I reached where I am now.

I’m still interested in developing my skillset as creative skills continue to expand and develop over time, but it is something I love to do and will continue to for as long as I can. I think faces and people are the most fascinating to draw for me because of the amount of emotion they can convey with minimal additional elements.

We as people can feel emotions we have yet to experience just by looking, we seek meaning and find it by relating to our experiences. That is why I love art so much, it allows me to express what is hard to do otherwise, to reduce it to an image and it connects me indirectly with the viewers of the art I create.
